Florida Studio Theatre - Bowne's Lab

Bowne’s Lab Theatre is located in The Hegner Theatre Wing on the corner of Cocoanut and First Street. This is FST’s newest space and is home to our FST Improv Troupe. Seating 100 this space features a full stage, with full technical capability that includes theatre lighting and sound. This space has been used for special performances, luncheons, dinners, happy hour mixers, and more.

There are loading zones along the corner of First Street and Cocoanut Avenue which serve as disabled persons pick-up and drop off zones.

An elevator is available in the Hegner Theatre Wing lobby, allowing patrons to conveniently access balcony seating.

ADDITIONAL ACCESSIBILITY INFO: Accessible seating in FST’s Bowne’s Lab is available on both the main floor and balcony level.

PARKING INFO

We suggest that all patrons park in the Palm Avenue Parking Garage located on the east side of Palm Avenue, which is free for the first 2 hours.

Additional Parking is available, during evenings and weekends only, on all levels of the ICORR Garage located on the west side of Palm Avenue in the One Sarasota Tower.

Reserved disabled persons parking can be found in the First Street parking lot across from FST’s Hegner Theatre Wing.
