Pamela Olin

At the heart of my work lies profound curiosity. As an artist who specializes in formative art, the elements of my work include metal, wood, resin, paint, PVC, found objects and space itself. My artistic practice is a constant exploration of the intersection between raw material, human emotions, and the infinite possibilities that arise when craftsmanship interacts with imagination.

I believe that art evokes emotion, ignites introspection, and connects individuals across diverse experiences. Each of my pieces is a vessel for narrative, inviting viewers to embark on a contemplative journey, exploring the depths of their own emotions and experiences, provoking dialogue about the delicate balance between strength and vulnerability.

Steel, for me, is a language. A song. A breath. We’ve been together for almost 30 years, we know each other well.

My pleasure is taking a very man-made substance and creating organic, sometimes otherworldly, objects that encourage people to see differently. (Besides creating furniture & custom interior pieces)

Viewers are invited to embrace the tactile nature of my sculptures, to engage with the interplay of light and shadow, surface and space, and to explore the narratives that unfold within each piece.
