The Sarasota Keys piano project brings art and music to the vibrant downtown Sarasota district. Each piano has been transformed into a beautiful piece of public art, ready for you to play.

ARTISTS WHO TEACH PRESENT WORK AT HERMITAGE RETREAT

On Friday, October 4th, Florida artists who teach drama, dance, music, writing and visual arts will culminate a four-day conference with beach readings and open studio tours at the Hermitage Artist Retreat, 6660 Manasota Key Road, Englewood. Historic tours and two open studios will begin at 5:15 pm. The readings will commence on the beach in front of the Hermitage campus at 6:15 pm sharp, followed by sunset at 7:15 pm. On Saturday, August 10, 2013, the Sarasota Cuban Ballet School (SCBS) will host an open house to celebrate its one year anniversary. Members of the Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe (WBTT) have just returned from performing Soul Crooners at the National Black Theatre Festival (NBTF) in Winston-Salem, NC. WBTT to perform at the 2013 National Black Theatre Festival

The Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe is very pleased to announce that it has been invited to perform its original musical revue Soul Crooners at the 2013 National Black Theatre Festival (NBTF) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
