Reception for the artist and Third Friday Towles Court Artwalk will be held Friday, January 15, 2010 from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. This exhibition features new work by veteran gallery artist and oil painter Ruth Dwyer.   Dwyer utilizes intense, saturated color to represent the abstracted and modern landscapes with a concentration on the corners of the planet that are remote and mesmerizing.  Dwyer paints from her travels to exotic places, for instance, the haunting open spaces of Nunavut and the Arctic. Her use of oil color seems to breathe and have a complexity and clarity that no other medium can achieve.
