Why limit your painting to value and color?

Learn how to paint the "temperature" of color. This approach is used in plein air painting. It's what enables the artist to capture the feeling of the moment. It's also what makes the difference between a good and a great painting.

This class is for those wanting to to use color in a powerful and expressive way. Mediums in order of preference are oil, water-soluble oil, pastel and acrylic. Although watercolor is not the best medium for this approach, you can very easily apply this new knowledge to your watercolor painting.

You will work from a variety of subject matter that includes photographs in the studio and occasionally on location. You will never see color the same way again!
