Works of art depicting Mote Marine Laboratory's 55 years of preserving our world's marine environment and advancing the science of the sea will be on display March 12 through 19.

The silent auction will be open for bidding the entire week.

Sale of all artwork benefits the programs and projects of  Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium.

Judging the entries are nationally recognized contemporary, social realist artist Jack Dowd and art collectors and gallery curators Lourdes and Robert Ziegenfuss.

Admission to the exhibit requires an aquarium admission ticket or membership to Mote.  "Re-admit" cards are given out at the exhibit that allow guests to return to the exhibit as many times as they like to view, bid and buy throughout the eight days of the show.
