Verdi's beloved tragedy returns for Sarasota Opera's second fall season. Parisian courtesan Violetta Valery abandons a life of pleasure to be with the man she loves, only to sacrifice her newfound happiness for the sake of his family.

The Sarasota Orchestra will once again be in the pit for this heartbreaking masterpiece.
