This lecture is by gallery artist Joan Lyon and is the ninth in a series of lectures and demonstrations scheduled throughout our 2009 – 2010 season. Joan Lyon, a mixed media artist, utilizes printmaking techniques in her various processes. Lyon will be giving a slide presentation of her many and varied bodies of work and how the places she lived and visited affected her style of work and processes utilized. Joan will describe the different materials and techniques she has used and will give a mini demonstration of her mixed media monotype process.
