The Sarasota County Arts Council invites you to “Celebrate Student Artists” from noon to 5 pm on Saturday, Feb. 13 at the Herald-Tribune, 1741 Main Street.

Students in Sarasota County Schools will contribute to a marvelous line up of stage performances and art exhibitions that include but are not limited to:
               • Finalists from the High School Idol competition
               • Emma E. Booker Choir and Drumline
               • Booker Middle School's Dragonfly Cafe Creative Writing Students
               • PAL Sailor Circus performers
               • Pineview School's String Quartet

This showcase of the amazing artistic talents in our schools will be sure to inspire.   Come out and show your support of arts education and help ensure the arts remain an essential part of a complete education for our students.

Local arts and cultural organizations will also be present at the event to offer information on the various student-oriented programs, workshops and scholarship opportunities.

This event is a collaboration of the Sarasota County Arts Council, Herald-Tribune Media Group and Sarasota County Schools.
