The Alliance Francaise of Sarasota, part of the worldwide organization of Alliance Francaise, promotes French language and culture in Sarasota.  Located in Suite 2 of Towles Court Pavilion in historic downtown Sarasota, we are a growing, dynamic organization, offering outstanding French classes all year long for adult groups and children's French classes in the summer. Our modest membership fee allows you entrance to our a lively film club once a month; our dynamic Club Litteraraire; our delicious monthly luncheons often featuring an inspiring speaker; our two major annual events, the Bastille Day Dinner Party on July 14 and the Beaujolais Nouveau event in November. In addition, our ongoing events such as cooking classes, Apero et Bavardage encounters, and bimonthly pot luck dinners promote friendship, language skills, and enjoyment for Francophones and Francophiles alike. We mail out an informative bulletin every other month and keep you apprised of our events through email. Our membership boasts both native and non-native speakers, ranging from fluent speakers to those learning French.
