Artists on the Court is a community of Sarasota County artists creating in many media. Members are invited to join based on jurying of their work. They benefit from access to superior exhibit space in Towles Court and a generous share of the sale of their work. Using elements of a cooperative structure enables the community to function simply, without placing complex demands on members. Members and their work are promoted widely in return for nominal dues and a small commitment of time. Submissions from artists in every genre are welcome.
Our Gallery has a sophisticated yet friendly aura. Each artist’s work represents excellence and uniqueness in its particular medium. We continue to look for artists whose work is top quality and distinctive.
We are also a community resource. Our classes are our contribution to enhancing the role of art in the life of the community. We offer a broad spectrum of classes to appeal to all levels of interest and ability. We try to make our classes unique, along with our way of scheduling them.
