Adam Todd Cohen started working with clay in 1972 while in elementary school. He continued to learn how to hand build and throw on the wheel throughout his high school years. He attended SUNY at Oneonta, New York where he earned his B.S. in Chemistry. Since graduating from Veterinary School in 1982 Adam has practiced Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. He has continued throughout the years using clay and metal to express his artistic side.  During his college years he studied ceramics under professor Dan Young, showing his work in galleries in Woodstock, New York. In addition to clay, Adam sculpted with bronze, steel and aluminum. In 2008 his present 2000 square foot studio and large natural gas kiln were built.
